RYA Safety Boat Course
We normally run one RYA Safety Boat course per year, priority is given to members who plan to provide powerboat support for our activities away from Hedgecourt Lake or are planning to become a Senior Dinghy Instructor.

RYA Safety Boat course
RYA Training Centre: Crawley Mariners Yacht Club
Venue: On the water instruction on Hedgecourt Lake and theory presented in the CMYC clubhouse or outside if the weather is suitable.
Duration: Two days
Instructor to student ratios: There will be a maximum of six students per instructor in two boats.
Course materials and equipment: Books are included in the course fee as is use of a club buoyancy aid. Students are expected to have their own sailing clothing appropriate for the conditions, these may include waterproofs, sailing shoes or boots, gloves and hat.
Previous experience: RYA Powerboat Level 2 plus one year's experience.
